There have been over 6000 downloads of z170-a-asus-0050.zip this is starting to look a little suspicious. i asked asus customer service about which bios to use when overclocking dual core processors. here is a guide for flashing older bios but it looks risky.. @insert_coin, if new me firmware was included in the latest bios update, then yes, i think it would solve this problem. it would also be helpful if asus made a way to manually control local fwupdate setting..
