Petroleum Minister to inaugurate month long awareness programme
“Saksham - 2017” on 16th January, 2017
Minister of State (Independent Charge) for fossil oil & gas, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan can inaugurate a month long awareness programme “Saksham – 2017” on sixteenth Jan, 2016 at Siri Fort area, New Delhi. Saksham - 2017 (Sanrakshan Kshamta Mahotsav) is aimed to form awareness amongst lots towards even handed utilization and conservation of fossil oil merchandise in conjunction with use of energy economical appliances and switch to cleaner fuels. The programme is being organized by PCRA (Petroleum Conservation analysis Association) and alternative Oil & Gas PSUs underneath the aegis of Ministry of fossil oil & gas.
During one-month long drive, workshops are going to be control for drivers of business vehicles and housewives, cooks on adopting easy fuel saving measures. Saksham - 2017 is aimed to coach on numerous steps for fuel conservation through activities like Quiz Show, Saksham Asian athletics Championship, Walkathons, concerts and alternative activities across the country.
National faculty winners of essay and painting competitions also will incline awards throughout the inauguration which has visit to Japan for kids, laptops & money prizes to encourage youngsters for continued their efforts and enhancing their information on energy conservation.
