A story in Pictures!
Beginning at Needle Roll - Inside - I made this Needle Roll for Pomegranate from the Knitty Boards in exchange for some cotton yarn.
Next Up - the outside of the roll - imagine bright yellow ribbon to tie it together. This photo was taken prior to completion.
Next up, we have some awesome stitch makers that Pomegranate included in her trade! WOW - totally unexpected and totally cool (except I forgot to set the "T")
The yarn is next in our Show Case, Bob, and due to the flash and bad lighting, appears blue rather than bright teal/turquise color that it really is. It is destined to become reverse bloom washclothes for various women in my family.
Finally, just because I am sooo glad that I remembered how to do it, is a drawstring bag made from some really cool fabric. It will most likely be a gift bag for a little girl with a B-day party next Saturday. Im thinking of making her a version of the needle roll for markers - or an apron for makers - Ill post pics when Im done with it!
