Piku is also 2015s biggest opener in overseas markets.

Piku is doing amazingly  well in all the top metros of india Mumbai city, Pune, Delhi city, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Bangalore.

However even multiplexes outside of top metros are also doing amazing business especially on Sunday

Movies with this kind of trends are rarely seen and was last seen in word of mouth successes Queen and Dum laga Ke haisha.

However Piku is a high budget movie unlike Queen and Dum Laga ke haisha  so it needs to sustain itself over a long period.

Piku also faces a tough competition for Ranbir Kapoors mega budget Bombay velvet from next week.
